The 2024 Chevy Tahoe is about as functional as big SUVs can come, with minivan-like passenger accommodations and pick-up-rivaling towing capabilities. For 2024, the 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V-8 is currently for the RST, Z71, and Premier trim levels. The Tahoe's list of standard driver aids now includes automatic high beams, front and back vehicle parking sensors, lane-keeping assistance, and much more. GM's Buckle to Drive function has become standard and prevents shifting out of park unless the driver and front passenger (when there is one) are buckled. The Tahoe has been powered by a V-8 for its whole existence, and this carries on to the most recent generation. Even so, its standard 355-hp 5.3-liter and available 420-horsepower 6.2-liter motors are joined by a diesel 3-liter six-cylinder motor. Each Tahoe is equipped with a 10-speed automatic transmission and either rear- or all-wheel drive. The Z71 package also provides air springs (that allow the Tahoe's ride level to be automatically and manually decreased or raised) and adaptive dampers, that are standard on the upper-echelon Premier and High Country trim levels. This newest generation Tahoe boasts its biggest interior yet. The Tahoe’s third-row now provides about 10 inches of legroom, along with the second-row seating now sliding fore and aft to deliver far more overall flexibility. The Tahoe's interior offers a lower and flatter load floor due to its independent rear suspension the cargo area together with the second and 3rd rows folded down balloons to 123 cubic ft. Each Tahoe is equipped with a 10.2" touchscreen that includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. Along with its numerous interior charging plug-ins, the three-row Chevy provides a potent Bose audio system as well as a rear-seat entertainment system with two 12.6" screens fitted behind the front car seats.
