The Chevrolet Malibu is Tech Savy
The Chevy Malibu is not just about gas mileage, performance or luxury. It is those things, but its identity revolves around its technology. It wants to make the roads safer and make your family safer. How does it accomplish this? By protecting your investment and instilling good driving habits in teens. Learn more below.
Let's say you buy a new car and your teenager borrows it. When they return it, you notice a slight scratch and you wonder what might have happened. You ask your teenager about it and they play dumb, or they decide to tell you some fraction of a story but you clearly know something is missing. You weren't born yesterday. With the Malibu, you can help limit these conversations and get data from the vehicle to fill in the blank parts of that story.

It's Fall Car Care Month
Car care and car maintenance best practices are good to follow year round, but with each changing season, it's even more important to double check certain working parts on your vehicle. October is Fall Car Care month and Turner Chevrolet would like to encourage you to double check a few things this fall to prepare for winter.
Battery
In many ways, the car battery is the beating heart of your vehicle. It gets the machine started and the fuel pumping. Without the battery, you're not going anywhere in your car. If you notice slow starts, dimming lights or corrosion on the terminals, get the battery looked at. It might just need to be cleaned or charged, or it might need to be replaced.
Tires
Tires move the vehicle. They are your vehicle's legs. Without them, you're not going anywhere safely. ...
September is Child Passenger Safety Month
The statistics don't lie. Using car seats properly saves lives.
- Car seats can reduce the risk of death in infants by 70% and in toddlers by 50%
- Booster seats can reduce risk of injury by 45% for children aged 4-8 when compared to seatbelts
- About 73% of car seats are not installed correctly
For Child Passenger Safety Month, Turner Chevrolet would like to remind every driver of a few child passenger safety tips.
When purchasing a car seat, pay attention to suggested height and weight limits. Based on the height, weight and age of your child, you will be able to choose from three types of car seats: Baby, convertible and booster.
After following the installation instructions that come with your car seat, it's good practice to always test the car seat to ensure it is properly secured. There ...
Movies and the 1967 Camaro
America is proud of its classic Camaro - so proud that Hollywood makes it a point to use the iconic classic car in its films quite often. One of the most notable models you'll find throughout many films is the 1967 Base model. See the list of films below and make note of the 67' Camaro next time you watch the below films.
1. A Walk to Remember
It's a film adapted from a Nicholas Sparks book. Like all Nicholas Sparks stories, unconditional love plays a big part of the film. No, not love for a 1967 Base Camaro but that would be one interesting parody.
2. Body Double
This 1984 crime thriller is a little creepy but the Camaro still looks nice.
3. Once a Thief
It is a mediocre made-for-TV action thriller by John Woo that challenges a Camaro in various action sequences.
4. Remember the Titans

July is National Grilling Month
July is here. It's time to break out the grills for National Grilling Month. Whether you're grilling burgers, brats, hot dogs, chicken, pork, corn on the cob or something else, it's always good to keep in mind a few grilling tips.
- Always keep the grill clean. Dirty grills can cause fires.
- If you have a gas grill, look for any leaks or breaks that might cause fires.
- If you have a charcoal grill, don't over saturate the charcoal with too much lighter fluid.
- Don't mix raw and cooked foods. Bacteria on raw foods will contaminate cooked foods.
- Invest in grilling tools. Skewers, baskets, tongs, spatulas and brush sets just make grilling easier.
Happy grilling everyone.

If You Care For Your Truck, It Will Grow Old With You
Trucks are the brawn; drivers are the brain. In order for trucks to outlast their tough work they need to be well cared for by the driver. Follow the below tips to help your truck reach old age.
Power is not the same as speed.
Trucks are built for power, not for speed. Truck engines are not meant to reach 0 to 60 in record time and truck frames aren't meant to hit the race track at high speeds. Instead, they were built to explore rough terrain, haul heavy payloads and tow trailers. If you drive a truck like it was designed to be driven, its engine will be able to endure for a long time. If you drive a truck like you're a star in the Fast & Furious films, then chances are your truck will spend a lot of time in the auto shop.
The wheels on the truck need to go round and round.
Trucks were de...
What's New With The 2016 Chevy Camaro
Muscle cars have a long history in the American automobile industry. Some models still exist today and some faded with history. The Chevy Camaro has stayed relevant. There have been five generations of Camaro since 1967 and now the sixth generation has arrived with 2016.
The sixth generation has a more athletic look and feel. The body is slightly smaller, but also wider, and it shed about 390 pounds from the previous generation. It still looks like a Camaro, just a little sportier for a new age. The same power and customization options that the Camaro has become known for still exist, but the new generation offers new safety, performance and entertainment features.
Prospective buyers will find they can choose from three powertrain options: a 2.0L turbo engine that offers up to 275 hp, a 3....
